Terms of Service

The small print, but we promise it's legible. These are the rules of the undergrowth.

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, playing our games, or interacting with Mycelium Games in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use our stuff. It's that simple.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll post a notice on our website. Your continued use after the changes means you accept the new terms.

2. Our Games

All games developed by Mycelium Games are provided “as is.” We build them with love, but they may contain bugs, unexpected behavior, or the occasional shelf that breaks too hard. That's part of the charm.

  • You may download and play our games for personal, non‑commercial use.
  • Except where permitted by applicable law, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or redistribute our games without our written permission.
  • Some games may be in early access or development, features may change, and progress may be reset.

🧪 Good to know: We love when players share their experiences, stream, or make fan art. Go for it! Just don't claim our work as your own.

3. User Conduct

We want our games and community to be a welcoming place. By using our services, you agree to:

  • Not use our games or website for any unlawful purpose.
  • Not harass, abuse, or harm others in any way.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data.
  • Not exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage in multiplayer games (if we ever have any).

We reserve the right to restrict access to anyone who violates these rules.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our games, including code, art, music, design, and trademarks, is the property of Mycelium Games unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any of it without our permission.

If you'd like to use our assets for a review, article, or parody, just reach out, we're usually fine with it as long as you give credit.

"Mycelium Games", our logos, game titles, artwork, music, software, and other branding are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5. Purchases and Refunds

Our games are primarily distributed through third‑party platforms like itch.io. Those platforms handle payment processing and refunds according to their own policies. We don't process payments directly.

If you have an issue with a purchase, please contact the platform's support team. We're happy to help where we can, but we can't override their refund policies.

6. Disclaimers

We make games, not promises. Our games and website are provided “as is” and “as available.” We don't warrant that they will be error‑free, secure, or uninterrupted.

We're not responsible for any damage to your device, data loss, or any other issues that may arise from using our products. That said, we test our stuff thoroughly and care deeply about quality.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mycelium Games shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our games or website.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) for the specific game or service in question.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these terms. We'll try to give you a heads‑up if possible, but we can't guarantee it.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Prince Edward Island and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you're from somewhere else, you're still responsible for complying with your local laws.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll post a notice on our website and update the “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

11. Contact Us

We'll get back to you as soon as we can, our dog might answer first, though.
